Hobbies Relieve Stress
In today's fast paced and stressful lifestyle, many health experts believe that hobbies serve to significantly reduce mental tension and stress. It might be difficult to take some time off from your daily responsibilities and routine chores and pursue your favourite hobby to relieve yourself of your stress and to rejuvenate your life.

However, taking up a hobby is well worth it.
It depends on what hobby you want to choose -- you can either do gardening, play musical instruments like the piano, learn dancing, singing, sketching and painting, practice photography, try your hands at carpentry, pottery, cooking, knitting, decorating the interiors and exteriors of your home or collect stamps, coins, or antique pieces. You can do anything as long as you enjoy doing it and you feel refreshed after performing that task. It is the end result of the effort and the sense of accomplishment that provides great satisfaction and the much needed outlet for stress and tension.
Pursuing hobbies provides the much needed break from reality and allows a person to forget everyday worries like meeting work related deadlines, paying bills, doing a job perfectly, reaching the work place on time, picking up the kids from school, etc. There are no rules or pressure of completing the work before the deadlines and the hobbyist can drag along the work and redo it as many times as he like. Hobbies also facilitate development of new skills and give exposure to hidden talents.
Many people recommend gardening because it allows you to step into the open air and get some sunshine and fresh air. Apart from relieving stress, it also gives you a chance to be creative as well as connect with nature.
